When I contemplate engineering colleges in India, I feel a massive dream in my mind because engineering is a very nice study, and many students want to become engineers, like making big buildings, computer apps, machines, robots, and many other things. India is a large country with many good colleges where students study hard and then get good jobs. My teacher says that choosing a college is very important because a good college provides quality education, and good placement leads to a job after graduation. I am a small student, but I try to understand the best engineering colleges, and I write this list of 10 colleges in India with fees, rankings, and placements. Some colleges are expensive, while others are cheap, but all are well-known, and students study hard to get in.

Big colleges like IIT and NIT are very popular, and many students prepare for many years to go there. I feel scared because the exams are hard, but I also feel happy because we can get into these colleges if we study well. IIT | ENGINEERING COLLEGES IN MADRAS
IIT Madras is the number one college in India, and many students dream of going there. It is in Chennai and has a massive campus with trees and good buildings. Students study many branches, like computer science, mechanical, electrical, and more. The fee is around 8 to 10 lakh for 4 years, which is a little high, but placement is very excellent. Many students get jobs at big companies, and their salary is very high, like 20 lakh per year or more.
I feel this college is like heaven for students because they get the best teachers and labs. My friend’s brother says life is very busy there but also very fun.
IIT | ENGINEERING COLLEGES IN DELHI
IIT Delhi is also very famous and located in the capital of India. Many big companies come there for placement, and students get excellent jobs. The fee is the same as other IITs, but placement is excellent.
Students there do many projects and also participate in competitions. I think this college makes students intelligent and confident.
IIT | ENGINEERING COLLEGES IN BOMBAY
IIT Bombay is in Mumbai, and many people say it is best for computer science. The campus is stunning, and students enjoy studying and extra activities. The fee is a little high, but the placement is also very high.
Many students also get jobs in foreign companies. I feel this college is very cool because it is in a big city.

IIT Kanpur is an old and well-respected college. It has a strong study system, and students work very hard. The fee is around 8-9 lakh, and placement is also excellent.
Students gain in-depth knowledge from the numerous assignments that teachers assign. I feel it is a little tough for college but excellent for the future.

IIT Kharagpur is one of the oldest IITs and has a massive campus. It has many departments, and students come from all over India. The fee is the same as other IITs, and placement is also strong.
Students there also enjoy festivals and cultural events. I think college life there is very intriguing.

IIT Roorkee is also a fantastic college and known for engineering studies. It is an old college that has a big history. The fee is around Rs 8–9 lakh, and placement is excellent.
Students learn both theory and practical things. I feel this college is well-disciplined, and students become serious about careers.

NIT Trichy is best among NIT colleges. The fee is lower than IIT’s, so many students prefer this. Placement is also good, around 10–12 lakhs on average.
The campus is nice, and students enjoy learning. I think this is a very good option if I don’t get into IIT.

NIT Surathkal is near the sea and a gorgeous location. Students study engineering and also enjoy nature. The fee is affordable, and placement is good.

BITS Pilani is a private college but very famous. The fee is very high, like 20-25 lakh, but placement is also very good.
Students there have freedom and a modern study system. They also have no attendance rule, which is very interesting. Students must be very responsible there.
IIIT | ENGINEERING COLLEGES IN HYDERABAD
IIIT Hyderabad is best for computer science and IT. The fee is medium-high, but the placement is very strong.
Many students receive very big packages like 20 lakh or more. I feel this college is excellent for students who love coding and computers.
MY FEELING ABOUT ENGINEERING COLLEGES
When I see all these colleges, I feel very excited and a little nervous because competition is very high. Many students study day and night to gain admission into these colleges. I think if we study in a small class and do hard work, then we can also go there.
Engineering colleges not only teach study but also teach life skills like teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Students make many friends and learn many new things.
I also feel the fee is a little high in some colleges, but scholarships are also there for good students. My teacher says money should not stop education if a student is hardworking.
